ABOUT THIS GAME
Cradle of Life puts the fate of an entire world in your hands. Create a planet, name it, and watch as life emerges, cultures form, and civilizations rise and fall across tens of thousands of years. You are not a ruler — you are a divine presence, shaping the world with powers that can nurture or destroy. Every world is procedurally generated with its own continents, climates, biomes, and resources. Five human species — Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, Homo erectus, Denisovans, and Homo floresiensis — each with their own strengths and weaknesses, spread across the land. They migrate, settle, trade, fight, and form cultures with their own myths, technologies, and religions.
KEY FEATURES
Procedural World Generation
Three map types — Pangea, Continents, and Fractal — generate unique worlds with elevation, temperature, rainfall, fertility, resources, rivers, and biomes. No two worlds are alike.

Five Human Species
Homo sapiens, Neanderthals, Homo erectus, Denisovans, and Homo floresiensis each have distinct cold tolerance, food needs, migration drive, culture growth, and conflict tendencies. Their fates are in your hands.

Deep Population Simulation
Populations grow, age, migrate, split, and go extinct. Health, food, intelligence, culture, morale, and settlement pressure all interact in a living ecosystem.

Culture and Technology
Cultures develop knowledge, discover technologies from Fire Mastery to Metallurgy and Roads, and accumulate myths that shape their identity. Trade between settlements spreads resources and knowledge.

Religion and Belief
Cultures form religions — animist, ancestor, polytheist, monotheist, dualistic, and prophetic — with holy sites, relics, tenets, and symbols. Religions spread, convert, schism, and wage holy wars.

Divine Powers
Eleven divine powers let you shape the world: Rain, Drought, Fertility, Curiosity, Fear, Bless, Omen, Quake, Raise Land, Lower Land, and Spark Disaster. Divine power regenerates over time.

Settlements and Cities
Populations found settlements that grow from Camps to Towns to Cities. Settlements collect resources, trade with neighbors, and become centers of culture and religion.

Weather and Disasters
Rain, drought, storms, and cold move across the map. Fires, floods, quakes, plagues, eruptions, and famines strike — sometimes naturally, sometimes by your hand.

Continental Drift
The continents shift over millennia, changing coastlines, biomes, and the balance of power. The world is never static.

Persistent World
Save and resume your world at any time. The simulation state — populations, cultures, religions, relics, settlements, and world layers — is fully persisted.
