ABOUT THIS GAME

2030. The city has learned to put a price on every human need: food, medicine, shelter, silence, even hope. Elias Vale wakes with the terrible sense that the numbers are visible now — not metaphorically, not politically, but written into faces, doors, screens, and debts. A folded note waits beneath his apartment door: YOU WERE BLIND. NOW YOU SEE. MARA WILL GUIDE YOU. GO TO DISTRICT 7. BLIND THE STREET. On the back is the central question of the opening: WHAT REMAINS OF YOU WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING? Greyline is a point-and-click adventure where the city does not hate Elias — it processes him. Cameras do not merely watch people; they assign social and economic value. Old machines act as witnesses: analog tools, paper tickets, clocks, mirrors, and physical handles preserve truths that networked civic systems suppress.

KEY FEATURES

Point-and-Click Adventure
Classic adventure gameplay with WALK, LOOK, USE, TAKE, and TALK verbs. Explore hand-authored scenes, examine objects for evidence, and combine inventory items to solve puzzles.
Neo-Noir Bureaucratic Horror
A world where every terrible thing is phrased as procedure. The city is more frightening because it is efficient, not because it is evil.
Six Hand-Authored Scenes
District 7, Platform Zero, the Zero Train, the Null Archive, the Archivist Office, and the Sorting Floor. Each scene is a dense, atmospheric space with its own puzzles and revelations.
A Finale With Teeth
On the Sorting Floor, six deliveries arrive at one bench and four chutes decide their fates. Greyline subjects survive only in Route 1 - Review - and every misrouting is permanent. The ending text names exactly who was lost.
Puzzle-Driven Story
Every scene is a chain of investigations that build on what came before. The city's erased infrastructure hides answers that only careful observation and the right tools can reveal.
Inventory and Item Combining
Collect notes, shards, keys, tickets, handles, hairpins, and files. Combine items to reveal hidden connections and unlock new paths.
Reactive World
The world remembers your actions. Dialogue changes when the world changes. Returning to a scene after altering the surveillance state reveals new conversations.
Old Machines as Witnesses
Paper, mirrors, analog clocks, punched tickets, ledgers, stamps, tubes, and handles preserve truths that networked civic systems suppress.
Voice-Over Option
Optional SAM-based voice synthesis reads dialogue aloud with a filtered, atmospheric tone. Toggle it in the system menu.
Save, Load, and Restart
Persistent local saves let you return to your investigation at any time.
